Well there is “check for updates on startup” but the BNet launcher does that anyway. Hi Brandhor, I tried both the editor and starcraft all-in-one, but when I started the map I got this 'The launch of this game makes reference to mod or map dependencies which are no longer available.' Edit: ok got it going. There is no password prompt, no login button, no “save my credentials” checkbox or anything else you might expect from an account management/login tab. I’m EU and all other region settings I can find reflect that, game works flawlessly.įor what it’s worth I still need to re-login this way every time I restart the editor and the Preferences->Blizzard tab is absolutely worthless holding my account/email but not letting me do anything. Yeah, somehow the auto-detection doesn’t work. What fixed it for me, and this will sound incredibly stupid, is toĬlick on the dropdown “(Default)” BEFORE pressing “Log In…” and selecting the proper region. Definitely connecting and using the correct password because deliberately entering incorrect nonsense would immediately give the red “incorrect password” message as expected. In my case going to “File->Manage Published…->Log In…” would save my account/email but not actually log me in, simply returning to the login prompt. Two errors that me and many others on the SC2 Mapster Discord are getting are: Unable to load dependencies Heart of the Swarm Unable to load dependencies Legacy of the Void This only happens If you dont login prior to load a map in the editor, anything with HotS and LotV dependencies gets broken. I hadn’t opened the editor in years and this is a fresh win10 installation (yes, greenlit in firewall already) with the latest updates as of August 2019. The editor for Starcraft 2 is currently broken. Added a trigger event when an effect executes. Re-open the editor and open your map file. Save your map file under a new name (as simple as adding a numerical identifier like the number 1 (Or other) should suffice). Added a trigger event response to provide the amount a player or unit property changes. With map file open, under the file menu, open Dependencies, and using the 2 arrows at the bottom of the dependencies window, re-order your dependencies. Added a trigger to deal damage from a unit. Added support for the Slider dialog control type.

Just had this issue AFTER patch 4.9.3 but found a solution, kinda. Added new requirement types: Odd, Divide, Mod, Multiply.
